    The association between atopic disease and the common acute bronchitis syndrome was examined using a retrospective, case control approach. The graphs of of a control group of 60 patients with irritable colon syndrome and 116 acute bronchitis patients were reviewed for signs of previous and subsequent atopic disease or asthma.
